Cookbook Swap and Shop
This sale is in conjunction with Norman Central's annual Cooking Demonstration program. For this wonderful program, the library brings in a local restaurant chef to do a cooking demonstration and pass out delicious samples and other refreshments. Before and after the program, the Friends sell a wide variety of cookbooks and food-related books (like wine guides!). In addition, you can bring in your gently-used cookbooks and swap them for a selection of cookbooks provided by the Friends! For example, you bring two dessert cookbooks from your collection before you gave up sugar, and you get two swap tickets to snag two new-to-you vegetarian cookbooks from the Friends swap table - and also go home with a sugar-free dessert cookbook you found for $3! 2019 Cookbook Swap and Shop July 13, 2019
